In my painting I try to keep in mind the constant formation and deformation of the image, the transience of all appearances, its vagueness. I think that reality can only be expressed in an ever-present active leak, causing the transfiguration of what occurs in reality. This touch of reality expressed through the image makes the expression become tangible. For me to experience, to probe, it becomes very important. I don’t try to find anything preconceived, I do not pursue a purpose, a certain result. I believe that to meet the real, the painting must be released from the bonds of any type of idealization. It can only act, not react. Thus, with no motive, the encounter with reality is always produced through the exploration but not from the search. An exploration unlimited, inexhaustible, eternally unfinished.
